This year’s entrants were almost exclusively field sales executives with only finalist Kelly Allen having a slightly different working brief.

Kelly aside the remaining top three were in grocery. It was a close run competition between matchless achievers with the top two a great reflection on agency of the year Field Sales Solutions’ commitment to operating a progressive opportunity between the agency, its training and the brands it operates for in the field.

A true sales leader, self-determined and dynamic of whom one judge noted “He demonstrated drive and tenacity to identify and implement event-led activation in his own area.”

SILVER Jane Malsbury, Duracell, Field Sales Solutions

Jane stood out with all of our judges. One commented, “Truly a brand advocate for Duracell. Created tools in her own time to help the team and very active on Yammer, sharing insights and learnings with her team and the client.”

GOLD Paul Snaith, P&G Gillette, Field Sales Solutions

It is very rare for any one brand ambassador to gain a unanimous verdict, but Paul was placed top in category by every judge. Paul was voted P&G’s sales executive of the year in 2020, a year when P&G with Field Sales Solutions also triumphed as FMBE’s Team of the Year, so it is clear that his candidacy for this award came from a bedrock of a fluid and well-drilled team that invests in skills, training and teambuilding.  As an individual Paul is an outstanding sales performer but it is his team ethic that stood out for our judges. One commented: “Ticks all the boxes for Brand Ambassador of the Year. Sharing of best practice, supporting his colleagues across Scotland and Northern Ireland and some stellar testimonials from the P&G client and retailers.”
