Event Concept expands with North American division

Event Concept (EC)  a global leader in creative event design and production, is today announcing the launch of its new North American division, marking a significant milestone in its growth and expansion strategy. This new division will bring EC’s unique blend of creative agency thinking and production expertise to the U.S., with the team aiming to offer a fresh perspective on brand-led B2B events and experiences.

Building on three decades in the industry, the launch follows a period of organic growth for the business across global and U.S. markets, alongside a successful repositioning in spring 2024. The new division is designed to capitalise on opportunities in the North-East U.S. market, taking full advantage of both the organisation’s momentum and increasing demand for innovative, high-quality corporate events.

The new division will be spearheaded by Kate Connell, Global Project Director, and James Connell, Production Director.

Kate has over 15 years of experience producing high profile, multi-faceted events across the UK and globally for clients including EY, Intuit, Bank of America and Bloomberg. She will continue to head up EC’s team of producers in the UK and now the US, as well as leading the charge in the US office.

James brings a wealth of experience to the North American division, having overseen the significant growth of EC’s production capability over the last 16 years. With deep expertise in complex technical design and production delivery, he will play a pivotal role in driving innovation. His leadership will ensure EC continues to push creative and technical boundaries while maintaining its commitment to flawless execution.

In his expanded role, James will continue leading production teams across the UK and US alongside Kate, overseeing the successful delivery of major global projects. Both Kate and James will report directly to Managing Director Adam Stanley.
