Whipsmiths Experiential

Whipsmiths is an experiential catering company. We’re a collective of engineers/food techies that offer creative and interesting food services for experiential activations.
We also run an ice cream brand using our patented technology to produce ice cream to order using Liquid Nitrogen.

What We Do

We work with clients and agencies to help create and execute briefs that will really connect with their audience. We offer our technical expertise to turn every brief into a successful campaign.

We’re entrepreneurial having grown from an organic start-up. We tackle every brief as if it was for our own business, and always go the extra mile to ensure that every project is impressive and successful.

Skoda Yeti Roadshow (2014)

Whipsmiths (Custom Creams Ltd prior to 2015) helped Skoda create an immersive taste experience. Our immersive offering allowed the public to create their very own bespoke sorbet. Guests watched in wonder as their ingredients were transformed into a sorbet before their eyes. – frozen instantly to bring to life Skoda’s slogan “Simply Clever”.

Proximo Spirits TFWA Cannes (2017)

We were asked to create an experience to represent and promote the “The Kraken Spiced Rum” brand in a very competitive and marketing heavy environment. This trade show is where large brands are competing to stand out and showcase their products to a global market.

For this brief, we needed something not only immersive but also visual, to stand out from everything else on site and to draw in delegates to sample the rum in new and innovative ways.

Our vision for the rig was a pirate ship in the midst of being taken under by a giant Kraken. From the shipwreck, we would serve a Kraken ice cream coloured and flavored to match the exact pantones and flavour profile of Kraken rum itself.
