BoohooMAN Fresher’s Fortnight Activation

boohooman-header-217715To help promote Boohoo.com’s BoohooMan range, Independent Events carried out a series of experiential and promotional staffing activations at 10 different universities in the UK during Freshers Fortnight.  Teams of fashion forward brand ambassadors were dispatched to the various campus on this nationwide tour, targeting students with props and encouraging shares on social media.

The universities targeted included Birmingham, University College London (UCL), Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds Beckett, Kingston, Nottingham, Cardiff, Southampton and Bristol.  Each of the teams had 50% off vouchers and branded BoohooMan T shirts and geo-tagged Instagram frame, students were encouraged to upload videos and photos of their best Zoolander poses for the chance to win £250 of vouchers with the hashtag #BoobooMANfreshers.

This was integrated with a supporting geo-filter on Snapchat and a targeted Facebook campaign which give BoohooMan.com total domination of Freshers both on and offline, amplifying the reach and scope of both to create a 360° campaign.   Over 10,000 students were interacted with over the campaign, with 1413 likes recorded on Instagram from 242 posts.
