Brand Experience Creative Award Live Pool 3 proves challenging

Pool 3 of the Creative Award followed a similar pattern to Pool 1, with judge’s and online visitor verdicts split across four leading campaigns. In Pool 3, the preference were even more diversely spread with no entrant out of the seven failing to find top-rated favour with at least one judge.

A breakaway of four candidate campaigns emerged – iD Experiential with Fruit Shoot, PrettyGreen with Nando’s, Bluewater Shopping Centre with Virgin Media and Kommando with Mento’s Gum all saw a number of top scores.

Frank Wainwright, director, commented: “This Pool proved to be a tricky task for the judges and site visitors. There is no doubt that all seven of the entrants were successful. The merits of ‘creativity’, however, is often in the eye of the eye of the beholder, and it is only by the weight of the combined vote that a decision emerged from the group.”

This competition is large and wide-ranging, with 35 campaigns entered across a total of 5 pools showing off a range of creative solutions using brand experience. Pool winners and runners up have a chance, at this stage, of making the final 4 for the live judging hosted at IOEX on 8th March, but with 2 pools yet to be judged, further scoring analysis lies ahead before a final 4 is announced on 28th February.

First and second place in the pool remain under wraps, so the ‘result’ of Pool 3 is, in no particular order:

iD Experiential with Fruit Shoot

and

Kommando with Mentos
