Strategic marketing partner, Brilliant Noise, has announced the appointment of Gareth James as the agency’s first ever creative director, to lead creative strategy internally and across client accounts.
Brilliant Noise aims to strengthen its creative thinking within the whole team so it can offer further creative strategic solutions to clients and prospects. It will be Gareth’s role to inject this creativity and bring design thinking into how it works and operates.
The appointment marks a new chapter for Brilliant Noise as it begins to use a more creative-led approach when developing innovative services and transforming culture and communications for global client accounts. This has involved the use of creativity in campaign-based internal communications and complex transformation programs, uniting and inspiring both employees and customers for clients like Jaguar Land Rover, adidas and Tata Communications.
Gareth James was previously Creative Partner at Aqueduct London, where he lead the branding, design and UX of creative technology initiatives. Prior to this, he was Chief Creative Officer at TMW Unlimited, leading their creative output and setting up the digital arm of the business, growing it to a 60 strong creative team. Gareth has also been awarded for campaign work at Cannes Lions & The Webbys.
Gareth James, creative director at Brilliant Noise, said: “I’m delighted to join the team at Brilliant Noise. I’m inspired by their strategic approach and formidable client list and I share their ambition to build a first class offering with standout creative work.”
Antony Mayfield, CEO at Brilliant Noise, added: “We are part of a new breed of agency helping global brands with digital transformation. These programmes need world class creative talent to communicate both internally and externally with work that inspires customers and employees alike. Gareth’s credentials as a creative leader and thinker are essential to the next chapter of Brilliant Noise’s growth.”
