FMBE Symposium has added two major celebrities of business to its event line up on May 25th.
One of the most senior marketers in Britain, Louise Fowler, has agreed to deliver the opening address, whilst the closing keynote will be a session with 2014 Apprentice winner Mark Wright a speaker who has been provided to the symposium by speaker specialists Kru Talent International.
Louise and Mark join a line-up that includes business and charity entrepreneurs Fraser Doherty MBE and Zoe Jackson MBE and marathon swimmer Michael Ventre.
Louise Fowler
Louise Fowler’s participation is quite a coup. Currently a consultant with Davenport Strategy, she has headed up the marketing function at businesses including First Direct, The Co-operative Group, Barclays Premier and Business and British Airways. At the latter she was responsible for, amongst other events, Concorde’s retirement party and a Time Square blackout. She will open the event, discussing the theme for the day, ‘Achievers’ and how FMBE activity can garner greater boardroom support.

On hearing the news of Louise’s participation, event host Frank Wainwright commented: “I had been due to deliver the Opening Address myself before Louise kindly stepped forward. That’s a stratospheric leap forwards for the event! Louise’s inclusion completes a very fine line up of speakers and presenters for our new FMBE Symposium. We seem to have engendered real goodwill with this event and its ethos for promoting the best in our industry. Louise is undoubtedly one of Britain’s most highly-regarded senior marketers as well as being an accomplished and engaging speaker.”
