Gekko and Agent42 plot Acer success at Westfield pop-up

Field marketing and brand experience agency Gekko is working with leading IT brand Acer, to undertake experiential marketing activity at Westfield Stratford this summer.

The activity sees Gekko managing a pop-up stand, designed by fellow agency Agent42, at the shopping centre to raise consumer awareness and enhance sales of the diverse Acer product range.

The pop-up stand is running seven days a week, from 10am to 10pm, over an eight week period and will finish on 20th July. It is operated by specifically trained brand ambassadors who are wearing branded shirts and badges. The ambassadors are working alongside a stand manager to proactively engage with Westfield Stratford shoppers, providing product demonstrations and generating excitement about the range.

To drive sales, shoppers are encourage to visit local Acer stockists following their visit to the stand.

The pop-up activity is bolstered further by the deployment of more brand ambassadors in these retailers during weekends. As well as assisting the customer journey, their role is to convert shoppers interested in the Acer range into buyers.
