Huawei selects Channel Advantage for field sales

The world’s leading information and communications technology company Huawei has selected technology field marketing specialist consultancy Channel Advantage to help drive the sales of its industry leading smartphones and digital broadband devices across the UK.

The Field Sales Program will cover key stores across the country and will focus on ensuring that the Huawei brand message and general customer marketing is delivered with best in class execution.

Founded in 1987, Huawei has grown into a global $35 billion IT powerhouse, with offices in over 140 countries and an annual R&D budget of more than $4.7 billion. The UK headquarters opened in 2001 and since then has established key partnerships with major telecoms giants such as BT, Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse and Hutchinson 3G.

The Channel Advantage Field Sales Program includes relationship building with key members of retailer sales staff, verification of in-store merchandising compliance and thorough product training. The goal of the program is to ensure that Huawei products are promoted properly, and the brand and portfolio of products are presented to both retail customers and staff in a professional manner.

Channel Advantage has previously worked with Huawei UK on a number of campaigns, including the launch of the Ascend P1 smartphone in the autumn of 2012, when all devices were sold out during a successful six-month promotion period.
