Live Experience Expo announces brand experience programme

Live Experience has announced an exciting education programme for the 2013 exhibition featuring new theatres, influential speakers and interactive areas. The exhibition runs alongside sister show International Confex on 19th – 21st March at ExCeL, allowing for one education experience across two shows.

New areas for 2013 include Live Lounge which as well as hosting the final stages of the popular industry talent competition The Next Big Thing, will be a technology hub with demonstrations of the trends set to impact the industry in 2013 such as holographic technology. As the social media phenomenon continues to grow, the Status Update theatre explores the latest innovations and trends, with a specific focus on how they can be maximised for the events industry. The Brand Activation Bubble will cover all things experiential featuring headline speakers Liz Richardson, director at Closer and William Bicknell, head of ideas at Chillisauce, who will be showcasing their company’s latest experiential campaigns.

The Live Experience Theatre will offer a comprehensive programme covering the worlds of music, sport, charity and experiential events. Denzil Thomas, business director at Billington Cartmell Music, will be a headline speaker in this theatre talking about RFID and how it can enhance the festival goer experience.

Areas returning for the 2013 event include Live Central a vibrant networking zone which will host the Landowners Speed Networking event, partnering event organisers with land owners looking to diversify their businesses by introducing live experiences.

Event director James Samuel said of the changes: “We are delighted with the continual growth of Live Experience and believe that these improvements will help provide the best show for the industry. The UK’s events sector has seen tremendous success over the past year and by bringing together the best minds onto the biggest and brightest platforms, we can ensure that the sector is given the first-class show it deserves.”

Organisers UBM Live continues to look for event experts to contribute to this fast growing education programme. Experience and advice are essential elements of Live Experience and International Confex, and speakers who can share their expertise and insight can help the shows continue to flourish. Prospective speakers can submit a content proposal through the call for content page on the International Confex website.
