Liverpool One GEGrosvenor Europe has unveiled a towering mural of British singer and songwriter, George Ezra at leading retail destination, Liverpool One.  The artwork was produced by the UK’s leading hand-painted advertising company, Global Street Art Agency, as the first part of a nationwide YouTube music mural campaign.

The Liverpool One hand-painted mural, stood at eight storeys tall and spanned 2,200 sq ft, one of the largest live mural sites in Europe.  It was unveiled on Tuesday, November 20, following a visit by George Ezra earlier in the month and was up until Friday, December 7. The mural was painted over several nights on Liver Street.  It proved to be a hit with visitors to Liverpool One and has become a leading Instagram location in the city centre.

Commenting on the launch, Cathy Meadows, commercialisation director, Liverpool One, said: “The selection of Liverpool One by YouTube to launch its innovative music mural campaign is both a reflection of Liverpool One’s position as a leading destination in the UK and the city’s status as a capital of pop.”
