Liz Lean PR founder joins British Chamber Board

Liz Willingham, founder of Liz Lean PR and current President of Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been appointed to the Board of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) during the organisation’s AGM in London.

Following an interview and validation process by the BCC’s Nominations Committee, composed of representatives from across the Chamber network and the BCC Board, Liz’s appointment was recommended along with two other candidates from Glasgow and the East Midlands.

Liz comments; “I am really proud to be joining the BCC board which has such an important role in representing the voice of business across the UK, especially in a challenging period of our history, as the world of business has a critical influence on society. It is going to be an excellent opportunity to learn from the bright minds around the table and help steer the future of this 159-year old organisation representing over 75,000 members both here and overseas.

“The appointment is a fantastic way for the PR industry to be represented on the board, during an interesting period of change. Joining the board also gives Dorset a voice to be heard at national level. It also enables Liz Lean PR to be exposed to wider ways to support our clients across the UK and internationally. Alongside my Dorset Presidency I see it very much a ‘win, win’ for all.”
