The event began on Saturday 30th September at 11am with 12 exclusive catwalk shows happening on the hour, all weekend until 4pm on Sunday 1st October in the centre’s event space, Middleton Hall.
Now in its fifth year, the free two-day fashion and beauty themed event will be celebrating the new season collections and key looks for both womenswear and menswear. There will be a line-up of centre:mk’s top fashion and beauty brands , including John Lewis, House of Fraser, River Island, Warehouse, Monsoon and Kurt Geiger. This year, for the first time, attendees will also see some of the best global beauty brands in store at centre:mk, including Givenchy, Champneys, Laura Mercier and Charlotte Tilbury, as seen on the catwalks at London Fashion Week 2017.
This year will also see two hair, make up and beauty pods at the event, offering a Dyson blow dry bar, make-up and skin and beauty products to try.
The event comes a mere two weeks after London Fashion Week 17 took place, and marks the recent announcement that centre:mk has become the latest patron of the British Fashion Council (BFC). The patronage, which has been set up in recognition of the centre’s unique mix of fashion and beauty retail, is a key moment for Milton Keynes, putting the town on the fashion map.
