Pilot Pens and Circle show FriXion to consumers

Pilot Pen Company is beginning a UK wide road show this week that highlights the unique benefits of their FriXion range of erasable pens.

Alex Sinclair, marketing manager for Pilot Pen UK, said:

“Experiential marketing is without doubt the most effective way for us to communicate the benefits of the FriXion pen range. The benefits of thermo-sensitive are immediately apparent when demonstrated. The experiential road show allows us to give everyone we speak to a personal demonstration. The ‘wow’ factor is instant and there seems to be a genuine excitement when they realise how easy it is to write, erase cleanly and re-write immediately with the same pen.’

The live activity will see Circle trained brand ambassadors inviting consumers to trial their choice of 8 different colours and four styles within the range. Visitors to the stand are encouraged to ‘doodle’ on large writing tables covered with art paper. Consumers are able to immediately write, erase, and repeat, instantly recognising the benefits for themselves. Following their personal demonstration, consumers are given their own sample along with a coupon valid at WH Smith, Ryman Stationery, Paperchase, Staples or independent retailers, which offers 50% off a triple pack of FriXion pens.

The tour devised and created by The Circle Agency will visit shopping centres, family festivals and city centres the length and breadth of the country between June and July 2012.

Throughout the duration of the tour Pilot’s B2B resellers will also encourage their customers to attend road show venues and trial the FriXion pen for themselves, optimising awareness, trial and purchase through all available retail channels.

The FriXion road show will be appearing at London’s Bluewater Shopping Centre on Friday 8th June 2012.
