PSCo opens an updated Assessment Centre

Trade-only AV specialist PSCo has announced the re-launch of its highly regarded Assessment Centre including new products from leading manufacturers and the PSCo Exclusive range. No ordinary showroom, the PSCo Assessment Centre in Reading sees over 30 visits per month and offers the opportunity to view the latest and most innovative technologies side by side. It is valued by PSCo partners as a professional and practical technical resource to which they can bring their end users for direct, personal observation and hands-on testing of the widest variety of technology from a range of leading manufacturers.

The newly equipped centre will be officially opened on 1st July and will showcase PSCo’s latest display portfolio, including videowalls, large format displays and complementary technologies and accessories. All technology on show has been hand-picked by PSCo’s technical experts and has been set up to mimic real-life applications playing content so partners can see how they work first-hand, with a member of the team there to offer advice. PSCo customers can do test builds in the R&D area to trial concepts before pitching to a client or fine tune the system and ensure that every aspect of the installation is operating at peak performance.

“The opening of the Assessment Centre last year was a major milestone in our value-added offering for our customers, and we’re excited to announce the second phase of activity,” said Stuart Holmes, CEO of PSCo Group. “Bookings have continued to come in thick and fast over the past eight months and feedback is always positive. What we hear most as visitors leave is that they’ve gained a truly agnostic overview of the technologies available. By giving them the chance to view an array of displays, bracketry and content processors in action, they feel they have enough knowledge to make informed decisions themselves, so they can go away and be successful in their projects.”

Leveraging technical knowledge and a unique product offering across key vertical markets, PSCo is able to help partners achieve more and add value through an understanding of what the end customer is trying to achieve. By simplifying the process of selecting a display platform, they can focus on creating visually exciting campaigns that engage with audiences and exceed customer expectations.
