PSCo reveals own brand display and support products

Trade-only AV specialist PSCo has revealed the first two own-brand display support products in its recently launched Exclusives range, pre-defined by in-house specialists to complement existing products in the portfolio, allowing channel partners to continue to recommend the best complete solution to their customers. The custom-designed PSCo Portable Videowall System and PSCo Mobile Lifter have been developed with the rental, live events and exhibitions industry in mind. Both address all the major requirements for temporary videowall and large format display installations in terms of mobility, robustness, functionality, versatility and cost effectiveness.

“By listening to our customers and examining the future product roadmaps of our manufacturers we identify trends and gaps in the display market,” said Stuart Holmes, PSCo Group CEO. “In this case, we knew instantly that we had the experience and technical expertise to design and deliver display support products unlike any others, that go above and beyond to address customers’ current requirements and ambitions for the future. The PSCo Portable Videowall System is the most portable-friendly videowall mounting solution available on the market. This freestanding, modular bracket is compatible with 46” to 60” screens and its 6-point precision alignment capability enables the configuration of high-quality videowall viewing experiences with a seamless finish. When assembled, the system creates a false wall structure that provides a durable and solid foundation. A quick release feature allows quick and efficient install and de-rig. Plus it is effortless to pack away and transport, making it ideal for temporary assignments.

Also now available is the PSCo Mobile Lifter, an innovative display accessory solution that combines all of the elements required to provide a complete package that no other trolley can match. Designed for extra-large format display installations at events and exhibitions, it is capable of lifting screens ranging from 60” to 95” to a height of up to an unbeatable 2.5 metres (to centre of screen). This guarantees the display, and its content, sits in full view of large audiences, achieving the organisers desired impact.

Its manual lift mechanism allows safe adjustment of the height without requiring power, making it perfect for environments where flexibility is essential, for example in remote locations, and simplifies de-rigging after events. It is also easily manoeuvred in to position on its wheels and, once dismantled into two pieces, is compact enough for easy transportation to and from venues in a transit van, providing massive cost savings on logistics.

The PSCo Mobile Lifter has already been deployed successfully. Emily Woolnough, Project Manager at White Light Ltd, used the product at a recent event and commented: “Initially we wanted to project some photographs on to a wall in a museum. The idea being so all 400 guests could see the images easily over everyone’s heads. It was obvious that projection wouldn’t work within the space. As there were 400 guests, getting these images to a good height for all to see was a high priority. Using the PSCo Mobile Lifter ensured we got our screen high enough for all to see. The photos looked better on the screen and we were able to position them behind a bar and behind a band. The stands were easy to use and easy to get into position as we only had a short amount of time to be ready before the guests arrived.”
