New video footage shows Samsung Slider success at Twickenham

Samsung Electronics UK debuted the latest innovation in sports, The Samsung Slider-  was unveiled at Twickenham Stadium during the HSBC London Sevens.

During the weekend’s 45 match schedule, Samsung received over 1,700 competition entries via social from fans in the stadium desperate to get closer to the action than ever before. The Slider was filled with riders for every single game, ensuring that over 170 fans kept up with the non-stop action of the sevens from the best seats in the stadium, including a stunning final that saw Scotland take the HSBC London Sevens title.

A UK first, the Samsung Slider is a state-of-the-art four person mobile seating unit that offers an innovative new way for fans to enjoy the match. Travelling up and down the pitch from try line to try line on an 80m custom built track, the Slider reaches speeds of 20mph to ensure that those lucky enough to be riding it never miss a moment of the game.

This new benchmark for in-stadia fan viewing experience is mirrored away from the pitch by the latest Samsung SUHD TV range.
