Smollan and Headcount partnership extends global field marketing reach

Companies are now putting more focus on investments that deliver measurable results, with emphasis on promotional and shopper activity. From one perspective such initiatives are intensely local, every store needing to be optimised, perfected. At the same time, the role of technology and a need to measure effectiveness across boundaries has resulted in a new generation of field marketing agencies who can offer not only the best of local, but also the best of global.

Two Agencies in the WPP group are coming together to respond to this need to have a global agency. Smollan Group, based in South Africa, and now working across 5 continents, will partner with Headcount, which has been successfully operating in the UK, and with partners across Europe, since 1994. Headcount will be re-branded Smollan Headcount, eventually migrating to Smollan UK.

The Smollan Headcount proposition centres on the overarching need to help grow clients’ brands, achieved through understanding specific client needs, developing the very best talent, service and execution methodologies, and delivering operational excellence with pioneering technology.
