TRO and Tenderstem embark on ‘Perfect Match’ roadshow

For the second year running, TRO’s professional chef Clover Hutson, has been cooking up a storm in the vintage mobile  Tenderstem sampling unit creating helping people to find there ‘perfect match’

TRO have created an engaging offline Tender app (think Tinder) where the PR social assets are brought to life to the consumer.Using an iPad consumers choose their perfect match with Tenderstem by swiping through accompanying flavours, choosing the one they ‘fancy the look of’ the most out of Skinny dipper,Gorgeously griddled,Hot and steamy

Incorporating the ingredient chosen, a personalised Tenderstem recipe card designed as a Tender profile will be given to the consumer as a takeaway Perfect for date night, a special meal or simply a tasty supper.Consumers are encouraged to share  their recipes via the website and could upload a picture of themselves at the stand to instagram to win a Tenderstem hamper.

The ‘Date night’ campaign is based around the idea that Tenderstem is the ultimate versatile vegetable: it’s a great ingredient for lots of main and side dishes, as well as being quick and easy to cook, making it the perfect date night ingredient.

Research into the country’s eating habits, especially when it comes to eating as part of a couple and how their partner influences their eating habits show’s that people are less than pleased with their dinner dates

· More than a third (35%) of people worry that their partner doesn’t eat their recommended five-a-day

· Men are far from happy with their partner’s table manners suggesting that their ladies just aren’t that ladylike – 62% of men claimed that their partner talks with her mouth full or chews with her mouth open

· Some 42% of people say they would most enjoy a steak dinner as a special date night meal at home

· A third of people said they didn’t feel confident on what portion size equates to one of their recommended five-a-day fruit and vegetables

· 40% of people say they regularly miss out on their five-a-day

Using these facts, TRO mocked up the profiles for “Tender”,that charted Tenderstem’s quest for “the perfect match”, being paired with a number of potential suitors – from olive oil to hollandaise and ginger to cheddar cheese.

The activity is running over 9 activity days at prime South East locations, including Southbank and Foodies Festival Alexandra Palace.
