Ulster vs Leinster cup final creates an unmissable hand out day for Bank of Ireland

Bank of Ireland, sponsor of both the Leinster and Ulster rugby teams, sees both teams going head to head in this weekend’s Heineken Cup Final (Saturday 19/5/2012). This is the first time the final has been an all-Ireland affair, as Ulster take on reigning champion Leinster.

To take advantage of this historic sporting event, CMS Marketing appointed Blackjack Promotions to help Bank of Ireland amplify its presence on match day by presenting rugby fans with giant branded foam hands to help support their teams.

Staff provided and trained by Blackjack will distribute white hands to Ulster fans and blue for Leinster supporters outside the stadium at Twickenham and inside Waterloo station in central London. The glamorous girls (fifteen at the stadium, seven at Waterloo) will be dressed in Bank of Ireland Leinster or Ulster t-shirts and give away more than 9,000 foam hands to supporters on their way to the match. Blackjack staff will ensure that the promotional items will be given to genuine rugby supporters who are heading to the game.

Leinster supporters can have their photograph taken with the glamorous promotional girls and then have their pics uploaded to the Leinster team’s website, www.bluemagic.ie.

Waterloo station is the central London rail terminal serving Twickenham and South West London.

The Heineken Europoean Cup Final takes place on Saturday, May 19th at the RFU Twickenham Stadium in front of 82,000 spectators, with 20,000 expected to have travelled from Belfast and Dublin.
