Volvic links Essex with Rio

Volvic Touch of Fruit has teamed up with Joey Essex to bring the Rio Carnival to London’s streets in a new YouTube film created for the Volvic Volcanicity YouTube Channel.

In the film, cheeky chappy Joey begs members of the public to rescue him from a London phone booth. When a passer-by lets him out, Joey is joined by a Brazilian-style carnival army, Capoeira dancers and some sexy samba dancers.

The stunt was created to raise awareness of Volvic Touch of Fruit’s Summer Edition Coco-Pineapple Flavour, which was inspired by Brazil.

Lucie Illingworth, Volvic brand manager said:

“This is the second time we’ve worked with Joey Essex and he is a fantastic, fun ambassador for the brand. Last year’s film attracted over 800,000 views so we thought it was only fair to give Joey’s fans another cheeky treat.”

Joey Essex said: “I’m well excited to be heading to Rio this summer, so I thought it was reem that I could bring the taste of Brazil to the streets of Britain with Volvic Touch of Coco-Pineapple flavour. The summer is set to be a scorcher – on and off the pitch – so there really is no reason not to start celebrating now!”
