Zync Solutions futhers its Apple and Android functionality for field teams

Zync Solutions, provider of the Zync Cloud product suite of data capture, management and reporting tools for field marketers, has announced that its smart phone and tablet application android2web and i2web now supports local file syncing of PDF documents, HTML and MP4 movie files. Files are synced locally to the device and can be associated to any question or as part of the bulletin. This is useful when a visual aid, such as a plannogram or sales advert needs to be shown to the user or client.
Zync has also broughr its i2web in line with its android2web service to support Bluetooth printing. Says Zync Solution’s director Vincent Gill: “”Working closely with our hardware partners Zebra Technologies (www.zebra.com), we are proud to announce that we can now support Bluetooth printing on iOS devices (ie iPhone 4+, iPad 2+) using our leading data capture application i2web. This compliments the Bluetooth printing capability found on the other applications in Zync Cloud family, namely android2web (Android 2.2+) and pocket2web (Windows Mobile).”
Finally both android2web and i2web are now set to benefit from free push messaging to Zync Cloud client. essages up to 160 characters can be sent individually or as a group. Messages can be sent instantly to users devices and their acknowledgments can also be tracked.
