Nestlé Cereals bugs children to eat their grains

Nestlé Cereals embarks on a nationwide tour today, with a giant 10ft long caterpillar made out of whole grain breakfast cereals including Shreddies, Cheerio’s and Nesquik, to show there is an easier way to get a whole bowl of vitamins than eating a creepy crawly.

The Campaign came about when new research from Nestlé Cereals showed almost half (37%) of children in Brighton have munched on creepy crawlies from the garden, yet 66% refuse to eat a plate of greens. Bugs that topped the list included: snails (28%) worms (26%) and caterpillars (15%).

The Nestle Cereals study polled 1,000 parents nationwide with children aged 2-10 years

The caterpillar, 1,522 times its normal size kicks off its tour in Brighton Churchill Square on Thursday 2nd April at 9:00am a location that was booked by agency SpaceandPeople.
