It’s behind you! FMBE packs a year of politics away in favour of brand success

The FMBE Awards is delighted to announce that this year’s awards will celebrate one of Britain’s greatest storytelling cultural phenomena, the Pantomime.
The night will be hosted by an absolute legend of the genre, the greatest panto dame of all time, Christopher Biggins. In true panto style, Christopher will be supported by a galaxy of characters and stars from the childhood classics as we retell the fairy tales that underpin brand success.
FMBE presents ‘Its Behind You’ will snub its collective nose at political uncertainly by responding with colour, glamour, excitement, satire and just a mouthwatering soupçon of innuendo as we celebrate the best achievers in field marketing and brand experience ‘come what May’.
Event director Sam Tasker Robbins comments: “The 2016 awards will deliver a much needed night out that this industry deserves, a chance to revel in the best story tellers and joyfulness that provides so much brand success. Panto marks a cultural identity in Britain, which encourages us to laugh at ourselves and join hands with our neighbours. We think that’s what everyone needs after a year when Olympic and Paralympic heroes helped reenergise Britain. Now we are lifting the lid off business celebrations before we all get involved with Christmas brand promotions.”
Award attendees are encouraged to join in the costume fun on the evening or simply to attend in smart suits and evening dresses ready for a great night of theatre.
The evening is a must attend. FMBE has been at the industry forefront for 16 years and this is the 12th Awards Night. Attendees can expect top entertainment, music, innovative experiential sideshows and a chance to celebrate the best campaigns with national and international exponents of field marketing and brand experience.
