Leicester City take on Ultimate Football Machine in Betstars Face Off challenge

Leicester City have put their skills to the test against the ultimate football machine – a robot constructed by a team of sporting experts – in the latest BetStars Face-Off challenge. Captured on camera by BetStars.

The Face-Off challenges, from online betting site and the Foxes’ official betting partner BetStars, takes champions from the comfort of their sporting field into challenging situations where their skills and discipline are put to the test.

In the latest video, Leicester City players Christian Fuchs and Shinji Okazaki stepped up to take on the robot in a series of  events, testing power and accuracy, and providing preparation for the club’s first ever European knockout match. A teaser video was released asking fans to #Callit and fans can now see whether their prediction was right in the full video released today.

“BetStars is all about challenging sports fans to prove they can Call It,” said Zeno Ossko, BetStars’ director of Sportsbook. “So we wanted to challenge the Leicester players to face-off against the ultimate football machine to see how they would fair. It was great to see the players and the machine get on so well, perhaps it could be Leicester’s next big signing.”

This is the second time Leicester City have taken part in the BetStars Face Off challenge, with Fuchs, Danny Simpson and Marc Albrighton previously swapping their football boots for hockey sticks as they took on Team GB’s gold medal winning hockey stars Maddie Hinch and Helen Richardson-Walsh in a penalty shootout.
