Mad River wins Eventex’s Best Event Team award

Eventex, the Internationally recognised awards ceremony for the Event industry now in its 10thyear, has announced their winners for 2019, naming Mad River, ‘Best Event Team’.
The competition was fierce but Mad River pipped their shortlisted competition, that included teams from China and Netherlands, to the post through their innovation, processes and adventurous team spirit.
The team were commended in their creativity and attention to detail in ensuring both clients and their consumers expectations are not only met, but exceeded, through innovative use of design and technology together with rock solid support from the delivery team. The variety of activations delivered, from pop up restaurants to exhibition stands and corporate team days to experiential sampling, was also highlighted.
In addition, high praise was given for the teams many internal team building initiatives, all designed to encourage them to break out of their comfort zones and think more adventurously in both their personal and professional lives. Alongside quarterly team day events and rewards programme, the team engages in annual Team Challenges, from climbing the three peaks, to cycling Devon coast to coast and canoeing 40 miles along the River Wye.
