The Individual Agency hits the road with Old Jamaica

The Individual Agency has embarked on a nationwide sampling tour, on behalf of Cott Beverages, to launch the new packaging and design of Old Jamaica to the trade.
The roadshow, which kicked off in Ascot on 10th March, has already seen 5,800 samples of the product handed out at various trade shows with the final figure set to exceed 7,500. The refurbished ice cream van, which was supplied and staffed by iMP, is targeting customers at wholesaler depots and staff going to and from retailer head offices. The brand ambassadors sampled the drink along with information about the product from the branded van. They were showing off the brand’s new design and sugar free diet variant.
“Having worked on with the Old Jamaica brand for some time, it’s been fantastic to see the positive reaction to the new packaging and speak to customers about their experiences with the brand. As The Individual Agency took responsibility for the whole campaign, we are very proud of what we have achieved for the Old Jamaica brand” said Michelle Edgar-Parsons, managing director of The Individual Agency.
Gavin Herbert, Old Jamaica brand manager, Cott Beverages, added; “The Individual Agency have managed the whole project expertly and we are thrilled with the success so far in reaching our key customers and having a stand-out presence at key trade shows in 2015.”
“It’s been great working with a brand so loved and well recognised by both public and trade consumers, and with The Individual Agency who have embraced mobile sampling activity with such enthusiasm and positivity,” concluded David Gibbons, director, iMP.
Old Jamaica’s next stop is at the Stoneleigh Trade Show, Great Nisa Retail Exhibition on 28th and 29th April.
