Sky launched physical retail shops across the UK for the first time in 2020, bringing Sky’s TV, mobile and broadband products to the high street, with the first store opening in Liverpool on the 26th October, a departure from traditional retail, offering a new social hub for shoppers.

The brand’s partnership with Meshh, at retail and on tour has led to a full picture of visitors, dwell times, footfall areas and repeat visits giving Sky a very good understanding of what behaviours lead to sales conversion.

Matt Price, Retail Indirect & Commercial Partnerships Director at Sky, said, “Our partnership with Meshh has been game-changing; it’s given us the ability to analyse customer demand within our non-typical retail estate. We can now optimise staffing levels to correlate with high-demand periods and use them to provide feedback to our advisors, resulting in improved conversion. Even wider than that, we’ve also been able to direct our marketing activity in key footfall periods to attract people to our stores. Meshh insights have also been used to educate our wider business on the intricacies of Sky retail and how they can support us in growing to our full potential. We’re super excited about our partnership and seeing how this will take us to the next level; a fantastic company to work with who provides game-changing insight.”
