Ambient WW set to scoot about London for Zoo Late

Ambient WW is launching a quirky ambient campaign for London Zoo across London on Wednesday, 30th May 2012.

The campaign, which runs for 4 days, will see tigers, giraffes and penguins riding 5 Vespa scooters through town. Ambient’s Vespa scooters will be towing illuminated poster trailers to raise awareness of “Zoo Late”. Zoo Late is an adult only late night summer event under which London Zoo will open its doors after hours every Friday night in June and July for a night out with a difference: Improvised comedy, Twisted Cabarets, Silent Discos and a street food festival are just some of the event’s highlights.

Ambient WW are running this promotion together with cultural events marketing agency London Calling. “We think the campaign will create a bit of a buzz for London Zoo – it’s not every day that you see a penguin riding the streets on a scooter after all. A funny, little ambient campaign like this can really put a smile on people’s faces and stands out in their everyday life. We have also ensured that the Scooters can be seen in areas relevant to the target audience, so we’re all expecting it to have a great impact!”, says John Dick, client services manager at Ambient WW.
