Momentum Instore helps Sainsbury’s in Solihull get started

Momentum Instore, a leading provider of retail marketing solutions, has supported Sainsbury’s in opening the UK’s most environmentally friendly convenience store in Haslucks Green, Solihull.

Momentum Instore’s team of merchandisers spent nine days and a total of 500 hours carrying out ticket preparation, dressing and setting up systems within the new Sainsbury’s Local store to enable it to open on time. The store’s environmentally friendly features include solar panels, LED lighting and natural refrigeration and instore signage has been made from recycled materials.

Rob Gleave, managing director at Momentum Instore, commented: “We have provided instore support to Sainsbury’s for over 13 years now and it was a privilege for us to have the opportunity to work on this important new Local store. It is an exciting time for convenience retail and we are looking forward to playing an active role in helping Sainsbury’s to achieve its aims for its convenience offering over the coming year.”
