Bluewater models Tesla pop-up

Open until December 21, it will provide Bluewater’s guests with the opportunity to test drive the new Tesla Model S, the first premium all-electric saloon car.
The store includes a Model S rolling chassis to demonstrate the leading technology, as well as a Model S design studio. Complementing the pop-up store, Tesla has experiential space in Bluewater’s lower Rose Gallery, with environmental graphics directing guests to the Winter Garden car park. In addition, Tesla has installed six Supercharger bays, located in the lower yellow car park by the entrance to the Plaza Welcome Hall. The Superchargers are a permanent addition to Bluewater and form part of Tesla’s network in the UK that currently consists of 11 locations, with more under construction. Tesla plans full UK and Irish coverage by the end of next year to enable long distance travel that links to the continental European Supercharger network.
Commenting on Bluewater’s latest pop-up, Russell Loveland, Portfolio Director at Land Securities, said: “Bluewater and Tesla share a commitment to innovation and experience, which makes this a great partnership. The pop-up and in-mall experiential activity add theatre for Bluewater’s guests, whilst at the same time allowing Tesla to bring their brand to life for a large number of affluent consumers. Combined with the Supercharging points, this is another great example of Bluewater actively seeking leading companies and technologies to add to our unique offer.
“The announcement is the latest in a series of new additions to Bluewater, with Tesla joining seven other companies, including White Stuff, American Eagle, Steamer Trading Cookshop and Bill’s Restaurant, in opening in time for Christmas. Bluewater and Tesla both dealt direct.
