Absen concludes European tour in Berlin – next stop ISE

Absen Optoelectronics, a global manufacturer of LED displays, has reached the end of its European Roadshow during which its LED display portfolio visited Dartford, Madrid, Barcelona, London and Berlin. EUREF-Campus, Berlin, was the last stop on 20th November. Visitors to each event were surprised and impressed by the quality of Absen’s LED display portfolio, which included the , ultra HD A Series for indoor rental and fixed installation.
The UK leg of the ‘Absen LED on Tour – take a closer look’ European roadshow started in September at Electrosonic’s New Technology Days in Dartford, Kent, where the latest super high resolution (sub 4mm pixel pitch) products were presented by Absen’s exclusive UK distributor PSCo. Absen and PSCo then partnered for the first time at PLASA London in October to showcase the unique performance capabilities of Absen LED
technology for live events, rental and staging. The LED on the stand attracted great interest with its HD quality content, colour contrast and brightness under high ambient lighting conditions. Visitors could also go
‘behind the scenes’ to see how neat, noiseless and serviceable the modules are from the rear.
The first stage in Spain was held at the IV Digital Signage Symposium at Linares Palace, headquarters of Casa de America in Madrid, on 18th September organised by Crambo Visual. Hundreds of companies in the digital signage
sector attended to network, hear presentations and see first-hand the latest, innovative technologies from Absen and other manufacturers for the Spanish market. Absen LED displays on show included the A2 Ultra HD indoor
LED display with 4K capabilities, F12 flexible LED stage and rental display, C7 high definition mesh LED display for touring concert, and the A3Pro (3.9mm) lightweight HD indoor LED display.
Trison hosted the second stage in Spain with a two-day event in Barcelona, 25-26 September. The event attracted 50 visitors on the first day and 100 on the second from a selection of verticals, including rental companies, sports stadiums, content management companies, advertising companies, retailers, electronics wholesalers, shopping centre management and more. Absen LED products on show included the AI05 and AI03 indoor fixed LED displays, the A3Pro, U2 small pixel pitch indoor commercial display, C50 and C55 curtain/mesh displays, F12 flexible LED display and A6 Indoor full-colour LED display.
B&K Braun staged an exclusive event, at Gasometer Shoeneberg at the EUREF-Campus, in Berlin, for a hand-picked audience of key decision makers from rental and staging companies in the region. The event, which
featured the A2 and A3Pro displays, had an extremely individual atmosphere, allowing the Absen team to introduce their products to guests on a personal basis, as well as to explore their needs and requirements.
The event has already paid off for both Absen and B&K, as sales were concluded on the day of the event. A successful family business, B&K runs the biggest distribution centre in Europe for internationally renowned brands, including Absen.

When it comes to selling Chinese products in other counties, Absen are the leaders – ranking Number one in exports for five consecutive years – offering specialist, localised incentives and activities that enhance service levels to overseas customers and markets.”
“In June we held our 3-day “ACE engineer training” event in Frankfurt, inviting engineers from many European countries, including Spain, Germany, UK, Sweden and Norway. Further ACE training was held on 27-31 November in Absen GmbH. We’ll be upgrading to ACE+ training next year along with an expanded European roadshow, visiting more cities, to further address local demand for LED displays in Europe,” he continued.
Absen LED displays will next be available to view at ISE 2015 in Amsterdam, (Hall 11, Stand F52), including the lowest pixel pitch 4K LED display and new high-end rental products on show for the first time to a vast European audience.
