Aesthetics wins Midlands accolade

Aesthetics Event Staff Ltd, which owns offices at Electric Wharf, Coventry has won the Service Provider of the Year (turnover above £1million) category at the Midlands Business Awards.

Aesthetics Event Staff was founded by female entrepreneur Lee Thomas in 1996 and now supplies staff to a range of venues, events and businesses including Wembley Stadium, The All England Tennis Club at Wimbledon, Twickenham, Harlequins, Arsenal,Tottenham, Silverstone, Fiat, Ferrari, GM and Samsung.

Aesthetics Event Staff was up against five other companies from across the region in the category of Customer Service Provider.

Thomas, who was also a runner-up in the ‘2013/14 Businesswoman of the Year’ stated that she “was delighted to be shortlisted for this award” “We have grown into a very successful company with a range of clients that are a who’s who of the sporting, motoring and corporate world.”

“That success is based solely on our commitment to customer service. We provide great service to our clients but, also, we are more often than not the face of their brand to their customers. “That means we have to provide great service on two levels and the fact that, in the space of the past 18 months, we’ve had staff at the Olympics, the Champions League Final and a series of corporate and promotional events which shows the quality of work we are doing.”

“In the past, we’ve hidden our light under a bushel somewhat but over recent months we have decided that it is time to actually give the company and our staff the credit they deserve for the work they put in.”

“Of course, we are thrilled to win the award as we were up against some fantastic companies and organisations. It was a tough category to win but we did it and I am very proud of my team both in the office and out in the field”.

“Winning the Best Service Provider award is further recognition of the work we are doing and is a tribute to the many unsociable hours we have to put in to make each event a success”
