Anchor launches school baking kits

Launching at the end of March and running through to the 24th May, every promotional pack of Anchor block butter and Anchor unsalted block butter purchased will add up to a 10p contribution to the baking kits fund, which will then be distributed to all primary schools that have signed up to the programme.
The baking kits are designed to help teachers of practical cookery make the most of their classes as each pack contains all the basic baking essentials.The scheme is open to all primary schools across the UK. To be involved the schools have to register online and every school that signs up to the scheme also has the opportunity to win additional items for their school from mini ovens ,a masterclass from a local baker, and a full kitchen make-over.
Jennifer Brown, Brand Manager for Anchor says, ‘At Anchor, we want to help the next generation get into baking. By providing baking kits, we are hoping to make it easier for teachers to share their passion with their students and make it more accessible to everyone.’
