CJ Services opens in Ireland

CJ Services, a leading in-store marketing specialist, today launches in Ireland.

The services provided by CJ Services Ireland offer store reporting, auditing and POP (Point-of-Purchase) display installation, distribution and maintenance for a wide range of retail categories and sectors. The company uses smart technology POPsysPRO™ to track in-store activity for both field marketing and display implementation projects, then provides real-time reporting to brand marketers. CJ Services Ireland will also provide a range of contact sales solutions including the innovative new voice and direct mail service, StoreLink, developed in partnership with SalesOut to help FMCG marketers engage with symbol group convenience retailers more effectively; close gaps in range and distribution, promoting new lines and driving sales growth. Marketers can review their own campaign activity and historical sales and ordering information via a secure and simple online portal, enabling brands of all sizes – from small family-run firms to multinational FMCG manufacturers – to draw on a powerful marketing tool that can improve visibility on their brand retention, repeat sales and ROI.

CJ Services Ireland intends to extend many of the award-winning services already offered in the UK to Ireland over the coming months as part of the company’s tailored strategy for market growth.

CJ Services Ireland also confirmed that Peter Brogan had been appointed to the role of commercial director. Brogan has extensive experience of working with leading retailers including Tesco, Parfetts, Musgraves, Dunnes Stores and Costco gained during his time with Akay Ireland and Bic (Ireland). However, Brogan is perhaps best known for his years with the family’s business, Galway-based Brogans Bakery.

He is joined at CJ Services Ireland by sales director Dermot Burke who brings over 25 years of retail experience, helping leading companies such as Colgate Palmolive, Bunzl Irish Merchants and Georgia Pacific Irl to enhance their brand awareness within the Irish market.

Speaking at the launch, CJ Services Ireland commercial director Peter Brogan said: “Against the backdrop of growing pressures on brand marketing budgets and increasingly cost-conscious shoppers, finding new ways to maximise sales in-store during the ‘moment of truth’ has become ever more central to retail marketers’ daily lives. As a result, the use of specialist in-store marketing support by brands will continue to grow across Ireland.”

CJ Services managing director Chris Langford said: “Our vision is to build Ireland’s leading in-store marketing business, making it easier for retail marketers to get the best access to a wide range of in-store support services. We are delighted to be launching a dedicated presence in Ireland and look forward to many long and successful partnerships with some of the country’s leading retailers and brands.”
