London’s oldest horticultural institution Clifton Nurseries has chosen KruTalent as their preferred entertainment supplier. Dating back to 1851, the historic Clifton Nurseries built a fine reputation for supplying garden goods to London hotels, theatres, film studios and of course London gardeners.
Operating throughout the 20th Century, Clifton Nurseries’ name and reputation continued to grow and saw them win 5 Chelsea gold medals and 3 silver gilts.
Having been in business for over a century, the W9 nursery now operates an award winning shop and a delightful café in collaboration with The Quince Tree. With the arrival of new managing director and respected horticulturist Matthew Wilson; well known for his work on Channel 4’s Landscape Man and Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time, Clifton Nurseries has now opened as an exclusive event space.
Wendy Bowen, marketing and new business manager at Clifton Nurseries comments “When people discover Clifton Nurseries they fall in love. We are London’s best kept secret, but we’re happy to share the secret for beautiful and exclusive events. We are thrilled to be working with KruTalent.”
Vicki Robey, talent director from KruTalent International said “Clifton Nurseries is a beautiful, sophisticated vintage space in the heart of London. There was instant synergy between KruTalent and Clifton Nurseries, and I feel our intrinsic understanding of historic venues and the constraints they can sometimes convey played a key part in this.”
