Galaxy Truffles at Blenheim Palace[1] copyMars Galaxy’s latest chocolate truffle is appearing at UNESCO World Heritage Site, Blenheim Palace, this festive season. The chocolatey collaboration will be realised in an engaging installation as part of Christmas at Blenheim Palace (22 November, 2019 – 5 January, 2020).

Galaxy has worked in conjunction with the light trail’s producers Sony Music and Blenheim Palace to produce a bespoke area; Galaxy Truffles Grove making the after-dark festive experience even more indulgent.

Emma Thornton, seasons & gifting marketing director Mars Galaxy, said: “We’re really excited to be partnering with the historic Blenheim Palace to make this Christmas even more indulgent. Galaxy Truffles Grove is our first immersive experience and it is sure to enchant visitors this festive season!”

Stephanie Duncan, head of marketing & communications at Blenheim Palace, said: “We are really excited to be welcoming Galaxy to the Illuminated Trail. This will add an extra immersive experience for visitors.

Galaxy Truffles Grove features Blenheim’s famous Cedar of Lebanon Tree, one of the oldest trees in the ‘Capability’ Brown parkland, which will be transformed into a shimmering frosty purple centrepiece, with a powder pink canopy.

Within Galaxy Truffles Grove visitors walk bedside cherry blossom trees glowing in a delicate shade of pink. Two pea-lit trees festooned in glittering lights will be adorned with Galaxy logos.

It also features a Galaxy’s selfie station – a boutique wooden chalet seasonally decorated to capture that memorable picture with friends and family. Once posted online visitors can be entered into a competition to win Galaxy prizes via social media.

The Illuminated Trail, created by Culture Creative, returns from 22nd November – 1st January transforming England’s finest view with a bigger, brighter and more spectacular evening trail than ever before featuring a new multi-coloured aerial light show filling the sky with dancing bands of colour, a dynamic waterfall, and the softly-glowing flowers of the Snowdrop Walk.

Also as part of the biggest ever Christmas at Blenheim Palace don’t miss the stunning new Alice in the Palace indoor experience from 22nd November – 5th January.

The State Rooms of Britain’s Greatest Palace will be transformed into the magical world of Alice in Wonderland. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, visitors will step between the pages of a larger-than-life story book and into their very own festive family adventure.
