George Bateman promoted at Experience 12

Experience12, the pop culture marketing agency, has announced the promotion of George Bateman to Managing Director. Former MD and company founder Chris Whittle will move into a Founder CEO role.

Bateman joined Experience12 in 2017 as an Account Manager and has been a driving force behind the agency’s growth and continued success. He has risen through the ranks within the business and has been instrumental in shaping its trajectory as part of the Operating Board.

The MD role has never before been held by someone other than the company’s founder, marking an exciting new era for the agency’s leadership team. This senior appointment follows the bolstering of the Client Services team in late 2024, with the appointment of Nick Swift as Client Services Director.

This strategic development of the senior leadership team will allow Experience12 to continue to consolidate its position as a market leader in pop culture marketing.

Chris Whittle, CEO, Experience12, said:

“George and I have been working together, collaborating and even sitting at desks next to each other for a long time and we have a shared vision for the agency.  It’s with enormous pleasure that we are promoting him into the role of Managing Director. There’s no-one better suited to take the agency into the next phase of its adventure and we’re over the moon that he agreed to take on the challenge.

“After all the hard work, dedication and passion that George has demonstrated over the years, I’m really looking forward to seeing what the agency will achieve in the future with him at the wheel.”

George Bateman added:

“I am incredibly honoured and excited to step into the role of Managing Director at Experience12. Having grown alongside this remarkable team and helped shape our journey, I am excited about leading the next phase of our evolution. We are at the forefront of a dynamic industry with rich stories to tell, and I look forward to penning the next chapter of ours.”
