Grass Roots goes global with new appointments

Grass Roots, the provider of employee and customer engagement solutions, announces the appointment of Daniel Gilgado Sanchez and the opening of a new office in Barcelona, Spain.

Sanchez has been appointed to handle Business Development for Grass Roots’ Promotions & Incentives offering, which is seeing rapid growth in line with 2015 plans. With a large existing operation in Madrid, Grass Roots has added to its Spanish footprint with a new site in Barcelona. An affiliate of WPP, a world leader in marketing and advertising services, Grass Roots is sharing the building on Calle Santalo with WPP agencies Grey Group, Wunderman and Burson Marseller.

Several existing Grass Roots clients are based in Barcelona and new Promotions & Incentives opportunities are already identified, with a significant number of FMCG, pharmaceutical, financial and professional services organisations all in the vicinity. Mar Garcia Ruiz, managing director for Grass Roots Spain, welcomes Sanchez to Grass Roots, ‘I am excited to have Daniel joining our busy team and to deliver yet more value to our clients – especially in the Promotions & Incentives space.
