House of Davai at Lost Village set for Grandmaster opening

Russian Standard Vodka has announced an exciting addition to Lost Village Festival – the ‘House of Davai’ Welcome Party – where Russian Standard will be hosting the iconic performers for festival goers. Agency Full Fat is helping the brand with the event.

Kicking off the first ever Lost Village festival and setting the soundtrack to Russian Standard’s ‘House of Davai’, will be the legendary Grandmaster Flash. One of the founding fathers of hip-hop and a true pioneer behind the decks, the New York DJ will be spinning a myriad of crowd pleasers, classics and surprise gems for the Lost Village tribes. Russian Standard also welcomes dance music phenomenon Crazy P to the party. The five-piece have been at the forefront of British dance music for the past 15 years and are set to remind revelers just why that is when they take to the stage at Russian Standard’s House Of Davai Welcome Party.

Lost Village is one of the most exciting and intriguing new festivals to emerge in recent times. Taking place in an abandoned woodland village, stages include the Abandoned Chapel, Forgotten Cabin, The Ruins and the Lost Village Basecamp, and it’s attracted attention from music fans and party seekers from all over Europe.

The Russian Standard House of ‘Davai’, meaning “let’s go”, will provide entertainment across the whole weekend including Russian Mule cocktails, music and live acts in a dedicated area of the forest including performances from Showhawk Duo and Woodland Circus.

The brainchild of Moda Black frontmen Jaymo and Andy George, Lost Village was inspired by a fascination with abandoned places.

Annie Mac is the Sunday headliner in The Ruins. As the First Lady of Radio 1’s specialist music team, Annie is a relentless ambassador for new music, which is never more noticeable than during her passionate live DJ sets. Annie will close The Ruins stage on the Sunday of Lost Village, following live performances from Fickle Friends, Arkon Fly and more.

Berlin-based electronic indie sensation Roosevelt and London party extraordinaires Krankbrother will are also performing.  Other forward-thinking acts include Four Tet, DJ Koze, Tale of Us and Jamie Jones, Harvey Sutherland, LXURY, Tourist and Djebali to name a  few.

Speaking about the collaboration, Lost Village founders Jaymo & Andy George commented: “We’re super excited to be partnering with Russian Standard Vodka to host our Welcome Party featuring an old skool set from the legendary Grandmaster Flash, the always amazing Crazy P Soundsystem and even a disco set from ourselves! Revellers who arrive on Friday evening can expect an intimate house party kinda vibe, setting the scene for the madness ahead!”

Russian Standard Vodka’s ‘House Of Davai’ is a continuation of successful activations across the UK at diverse events such as  Warehouse Project, Rebel Bingo and Lovebox.

The ‘House of Davai’ Welcome Party takes place on 22nd May.
