Marathon stints for TRO

From the Paris Marathon on Sunday 12 April to the London Marathon on Sunday 26 April, TRO Teams have been busy both running the 26.2 miles for charity, and running a number of brand activations for clients.
The TRO tale began on Friday 11 April when four TROers donned their Lycra and saddled up to cycle from London to Paris. Sion Stansfield, Gary Wootton, Tom Gentle and Nick Glazier completed the challenge of 210 miles, in around 26 hours, having battled through rain, chain issues, injuries and a rather treacherous lap of the Arc de Triomphe!
Just 12 hours later, Sion Stansfield began the next challenge, joined this time by TRO colleagues Nicky Morgan and Sarah Mayo, on the Champs Elysees along with 54,000 other runners ahead of the 26.2 miles of the Paris Marathon. In 20 degrees heat, and alongside some of the world’s most iconic sights, the team enjoyed/endured the atmosphere of one of the world’s largest marathons.
The team returns to London and the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 26 April with Official Sponsor Lucozade Sport. TRO will be bringing the Lucozade Sport brand to life through two brand activations – one at the Marathon Expo held at London’s ExCel over four days in the run up to the marathon, and the other at Mile 23 of the marathon course with a motivational brand experience for runners on the day.
Andrew Orr, another of the TRO team will then be donning his Pink Lady costume (for the third year running) to run the 26.2 miles of the iconic London route on behalf of his client Pink Lady, raising money along the way for Stroke Association.
