Noodle Live launches to help events with mobile communication

Noodle Live launches today. This new event technology is built to support event organisers, exhibitors and attendees, using a blend of RFID card readers, cloud storage and a cross platform mobile app. By combining these three key ingredients, Noodle Live makes collecting, storing and sharing information at events easier.
With the swipe of a card at sign-posted readers, event attendees are able to grab documents, keynote presentations and product guides, join mailing lists and follow social media accounts. A greener option than printed materials, Noodle Live makes events simpler to manage and allows organisers to capture valuable data about their event.
Up-to-date information about exhibitors, speakers and sponsors, as well as a full event schedule is delivered via the Noodle Live app, making it a viable alternative to a printed event programme. The app also shows who else is attending, allowing for networking to begin in advance. The swipe card makes collecting information easy, and can also be used to give attendees access to exclusive content from speakers, exhibitors and sponsors.
Post event, all the documents, presentations, brochures and contact details are stored in the cloud. Attendees log in via their mobile, tablet or computer to access everything they collected, and can share whatever they want via social media and email.
Using Noodle Live to distribute information digitally and in real time means organisers can provide in-depth information about their event more cost effectively than by using print. Delivery via mobile means that on-the-hoof changes, such as the addition of a new speaker, can be communicated swiftly and easily.
Noodle Live’s analytics dashboard provides event organisers with insights into which stands attendees are visiting, which speakers they are most interested in and how they are interacting with each other. With this data, organisers can make smart decisions about their next event, and market it using the attendee information gathered by the app.
“We’ve all been to shows where we’ve picked up endless reams of paper and ended up lugging a great weight around by the end of the day. When you get back to the office you have so much to sort through, brochures, programmes and business cards, that you often don’t bother at all,” commented Clemi Hardie, founder and MD of Noodle Live.
“Noodle Live takes all of the stress out of the process. Once armed with your Noodle Live card you can pick up whatever you like, and it’s all there waiting for you when you want to access it later; searchable and easy to categorise.”
“It provides event organisers with a competitive edge by bringing together a lot of functionality into one app. Unlike other apps on the market which might do one job, such as collect contacts or display event info, it is your one stop shop for collecting and sharing all of the information and contacts attendees need at an event.”
