Slice and Bupa encourage Britain to Feel Great

Experiential and events specialist Slice and Bupa Uk have unveiled Feel Great Britain, a new programme aimed at inspiring the nation to feel great in order to improve their overall health and wellbeing. TV presenter Tess Daly is fronting the initiative that will focus around a series of events, activities and initiatives designed to encourage Britons to enjoy feel great moments.
Bupa will launch its mission to help Britain feel great at next month’s Bupa Westminster Mile. Over the following months, there will be a series of national and regional activities and initiatives that will provide Britons with a range of ways to create their own feel great moments for their mind, body and soul. This will include night runs, outdoor swims and events in some of Britain’s most beautiful forests.
A digital hub has also launched which will allow people to see the range of events on offer as well as gain inspiration and motivation from Bupa for how to enjoy a feel great moment.
To launch the campaign, Bupa has undertaken research of the things that make Britons feel great and how regularly people are experiencing feel great moments. Whilst sleeping in a freshly made bed tops the list, the results also revealed a worrying trend for how frequently people feel great. Just one in eight said they have a feel great moment more than once a month and almost one in five stated a ‘lack of inspiration’ as the reason as they don’t feel great more regularly.
Saj Arshad, general manager, marketing, sales and strategy for Bupa UK said:
“The Feel Great Britain campaign represents a new direction for Bupa. Feeling great makes a significant contribution to our health and wellbeing and this programme of events, activities and initiatives has been designed to provide inspiration and opportunities for Britons to enjoy a feel great moment and engage with Bupa.
“So we have partnered with a range of organisations to roll-out a calendar of initiatives and events to inspire and encourage people to feel great. Our digital hub will also provide motivation for people to find their feel great. The hope is we can help people establish true wellness by finding the right balance of mind, body and soul.”
Tess Daly, Bupa Feel Great Britain ambassador, said:
“We all have those little things that make us feel great – for me it’s feeling the sun on my face.
“With modern society being so busy people struggle to find the time and lack the inspiration to enjoy a feel great moment. The Feel Great Britain programme will provide all the encouragement and motivation people need to improve their health and wellbeing by feeling great more often.”
