Green & Fortune has published its commitments to providing inclusive spaces at its Kings Cross venue, Kings Place.
The commitments are published in a paper entitled Outstanding. Never Standing Out. It details Green & Fortune’s vast experience and learnings in the events sector and specifically looks to evolve and involve every voice in the conference conversation.
Green & Fortune celebrates diversity and encourages delegates, speakers and sponsors to feel fully included in the conversation. Outstanding. Never Standing Out. highlights King’s Place’s inclusive spaces and exceptional experiences where every voice counts.
The commitments aim to re-frame the event industry’s traditional narrative around disabilities and remove any connotation that delegates are othered, outsiders or that they stand out. Focus is placed on both the venue’s commitments to organisers and delegates and also how the venue can help organisers ensure they are fully inclusive and include every individual in the room.
Rebecca Harris, Business Development Director at Green & Fortune, says: “We’ve hosted many events for very different audiences and are confident that we are a benchmark for inclusivity in the capital.”
