Hunterlodge boosts team with senior media planner and senior project manager

Award-winning advertising agency Hunterlodge has enhanced its team with two appointments; Dominic Mellin as senior media planner and Kim Michael Bowles as senior project manager.

Mellin reports to Paul Phillips, head of media in his new role. He is tasked with planning integrated, cross-channel media strategies, ensuring that all activity drives towards achieving client objectives, whilst also overseeing the commercial facets of the media department. Prior to his appointment, he held roles at The Adventurists, Dentsu Aegis Network and Palletways UK Ltd.

Bowles has a wealth of experience in a range of sectors including luxury lifestyle, consumer and fashion. He joins Hunterlodge, where as integrated project manager, he was responsible for the management and running of projects including brand identity, strategically led advertising campaigns, website/mobile app design and build and editorial content production. As senior project manager, he will be responsible for developing new and existing client projects and assisting with new business. He will collaborate closely with the internal teams and report to Kim McLellan, client director.

The new hires mark a major year of growth for the agency, with a 35% growth in its revenues and 12 new staff hires. Over 10% of Hunterlodge’s growth came from existing clients such as Ordnance Survey and Cats Protection, whilst new clients like Mercedes Benz, Henley Business School and Saffron Building Society contributed over 90% growth.

Rob Hunter comments: “Dom and Kim are joining the agency at a very exciting time. 2016 was a year of major growth, with our commitment to effectiveness and developing our staff being a huge benefit to the company. This has helped us provide an outstanding service for all our existing clients which results in high levels of client retention. I am immensely proud of the team we have built at Hunterlodge and happy to welcome the new additions to our team.”
