Professional Agency Management is a category that effectively asks, what was that crucial management decision that you made and, once you were going for it, how did that decision then change the performance, process or trajectory of your agency.

For Tactical Solutions that decision was to go for B Corp status, and by obtaining it nothing at the agency was exactly the same as it had been before.

The challenge of B Corp is very different dependent on business type. Businesses with few employees vs profit and with naturally low carbon footprints can go for B Corp status without quite the same complexity of challenges that others may face.

For a field marketing agency that operates in grocery/FMCG, with a large fieldforce, many based in cars, the challenge is a steep one.

By becoming the first field marketing agency to achieve B Corp status, Tactical Solutions not only rubber stamped their intention to be a great best practice employer, they put themselves on a new authoritative platform with existing clients and won new business.

This entry was a wonderful positive news story for the agency. Taking on the B Corp challenge was a postive for the field marketing sector as a whole.

The award entry was supported by detailed appendices that embraced the B Corp ethos of transparency.

It showed exactly how the Business Impact Assessment is scored and, what Tactical Solutions had done to achieve a score of 81 out of 200, explained why this was above the average score of 50 and explained why Tactical is motivated to aim higher.

Of many points of data, insight and business strategy shared with our judges a figure of 29.71t reduction in carbon footprint. This was one of many pointers to the scale of process change that has been affected at the business.

BRONZE Fizz Experience

ISO 9001 and 14001 have been certification game changers for Fizz Experience. The entry focussed around the work of project manager Richard Dodd, the agency’s nominated champion of core issues covered by the certification including environmental and sustainability targets stimulated by ISO 14001

Targets include a reduction in print across the business with an initial target of reducing its paper usage by 50%.

Fizz has also transferred to an entirely electric of hybrid set of company leased cars. .

Fizz’s ISO9001 status is underpinned by its Quality Management System a process that drives Fizz to make quality of experience core to every action.
