Oatly creates bike thru pop up in Amsterdam

Amsterdam has always been a city on two wheels. So Oatly did the most obvious thing and built a Bike-Thru, in this cycling capital. No engines. No queues of cars. Just people pedaling through a dedicated cycling path, grabbing an Oatly Signature drink, and riding off into the city like it’s a normal Tuesday (because in Amsterdam, it is). Oatly’s Bike-Thru isn’t just a new way to get a delicious oat drink- it’s a reimagining of how brands can show up in real life. Instead of asking people to change their habits, Oatly leaned into one of Amsterdam’s most iconic ones: cycling. The result? A service designed for bikes first, built to flow seamlessly into everyday city life. Christiaan van Doornik, Oatly Benelux GM, said: “At Oatly we believe sustainability doesn’t have to be boring, preachy, or inconvenient. By flipping the drive-thru model on its head, our Bike-Thru shows just how good oat drinks can be and imagines a future where convenience doesn’t come with carbon emissions, and choosing to move more sustainably feels natural, not forced. Amsterdam already chose bikes, so we just met the city where it’s at.”
