Ambient Media helps Aldo store launch instore and out

Ambient Media has worked with fashion shoe retailer Aldo to re-open a new concept Flagship location at 309 Oxford Street on 21st April 2012. To celebrate the re-opening of the largest Aldo store ever, a one-day event was held in store and the surrounding area, featuring special promotions running throughout the day.
Under the campaign theme of “Stay Cool” Aldo is embracing the summer as a state of mind. The slogan was brought to life by giving away popsicles to people on the streets and Ambient Media’s teams of promo staff were also sporting the popsicles look on their t-shirts.
To get the public excited, Ambient’s enthusiastic promo team invited shoppers to the store event which included an all-you-can-eat-pick-and-mix candy station, free swag, manicures and cool tunes by DJ’s Amber Atherton and Work It Girls.
The Ambient girls also handed out branded I-phone cases and exclusive scratch cards, which saw in-store discounts of 10%, 20%, 30% and even 50% as wins.
The activity was further supported by Ambient Media’s Aldo Ice Cream.
Truck making stops along Oxford giving out free popsicles and a surprise courtesy cab circulating the event picking up passengers and offering them free rides to the store event.
