centre:mk celebrates fashion and beauty with the AW16 Live Event

centremk_-aw16-shortlist-415728littleHermes Investment Management, the £26 billion manager focused on delivering superior, sustainable, risk adjusted returns to its clients – responsibly, celebrated the success of AW16 Live In Style, a dedicated fashion and beauty event, in centre:mk’s Middleton Hall which took place at the beginning of October.

AW16 Live is one of the region’s biggest live fashion event now in its fourth year at centre:mk. New season collections and key looks for AW16 for both womenswear and menswear were showcased in hourly catwalk shows and over 30 leading brands participated, including John Lewis, House of Fraser, M&S, River Island and Hobbs. Centre:mk celebrated an increase of footfall of 11.4% during the event compared to previous years.

In addition, Ellie Stidolph, centre:mk Stylist at Large, whose clients include Ella Eyre and Niall Horan of One Direction, offered her fashion expertise to shoppers in a pop-up concept: ‘Off the Rails’ on 1st October.  

Shoppers were also able to have free hair and make up tutorials and get top tips over the weekend at ‘The Beauty Box’. Free personalised centre:mk shopping bags were given away to celebrate the AW16 Live in style event.

Its location in Middleton Hall, in the heart of centre:mk, is the perfect showcase for a fashion event such as this and offers shoppers an added appeal to their visit. The event captures our premium fashion and beauty brands we have on offer throughout the destination and further strengthens our position as one of the leading retail and leisure destinations in the catchment.”

This news follows the recent opening of Kiehl’s, making its regional debut at centre:mk and joins Jigsaw, Hobbs, Joules, White Stuff, The White Company and Pandora all launching on Sunset Walk in the past 18 months.
