Tim Fletcher, Grocery Field Sales Controller, Carlsberg-Britvic has been named chair of judges for the FMBE Awards.
The appointment means that Tim, who has been a member of the judging panel for 15 years will bring his considerable experience to bear as a reference point for any questions entrants have about the judging process.
“We are very proud of our client led judging panel and the engagement that brings between the campaigns and the brands and budget holders. Tim’s authority and integrity has always matched our process of championing best practice in FMBE. He is such a great champion of the agencies, their work and industry progression.”
Tim spoke at FMBE’s recent BEst Connected awards and took the opportunity to tell delegates what he feels is special about the FMBE judging process.
Tim comments: “These awards offer industry clients a best practice point of reference. The judging is very methodical and allows both large and small field marketing and brand experiences teams to show their best work”
Frank adds “Our awards always strive to show how different agencies make a unique impact. Our judges seek our Return on Engagement along with Return on Investment, so that our winners typically show how their creativity and innovation delivers an exceptional positive outcome.”
Whilst being the honorary chair Tim will continue assess the candidates as a judge of the Brand Ambassador category.
He told FMBE “It is my favourite category to judge. These awards link right through from strategy to delivery, and it is great to see how much difference the best brand ambassadors can make.”
At BEst Connected Tim also recounted how he like to get out in the car with field representatives for Carlsberg-Britvic, an opportunity he values as a chance to see exactly how his brands are being received in store.
Frank Wainwright comments “It is great to have Tim on board. Someone who takes the trouble to see his own campaigns step by step helps our judges to view each entry holistically.”
